Our first 2023 recipient of our VSA Baseball Athlete of the Week is Ian Denning. Ian is a sophomore at Chippewa Falls High School. Ian is currently participating in our High School Winter Training Program. The program is designed to help athletes elevate their skills before their High School season. Ian has already seen great strides in just the first month of the program. Ian has grown in his arm strength, arm care and ability to command the baseball. While training on our turf field, Ian has also made progress on his outfield skills and being able to move more efficiently in the outfield. While Ian has been working hard throughout the program, he has also come to VSA and used the cages on his own! We love to see this type of work ethic and look forward to seeing Ian continue to grow this winter.
