



Learn to Skate
The Learn to Skate Program is designed for kids ages 3-8 who want to learn how to ice skate. Sessions will be 45 minutes on three consecutive Sundays, starting September 10th. Participants will learn the basics of skating and will gain confidence on their edges. Hockey equipment and skates will not be provided. Skates and helmets are required, other protective equipment is encouraged (gloves or mittens, knee pads, elbow pads).
****Parents are welcome to come out and help with learn to skate

Learn to Play Hockey
Three week learn to play program for new hockey players ages 3-8! All players will be taught the basic fundamentals of skating, passing, shooting and stickhandling; both stationary and while moving.
**VSA will NOT be providing equipment for this program. Hockey player ‘Starter Packs’ are available at VSA’s pro-shop. These starter packs do NOT include skates OR helmets.

Spring Skating and Scoring Program
This program will focus on power skating, evasive skating, deceptive shooting, and goal scoring.
Format:
15 Minutes – Classroom
45 Minutes – Dryland
1 Hour – On Ice
