Troy Ward and Joe Piskula’s defenseman clinic’s mission was to teach these defensemen the tactical details of their position. They taught vision, stick positioning, footwork, and countless other major details over the weekend. These kids were exposed to a level of teaching that few kids get, in the entire hockey world. It was a pleasure to witness and host this camp at VSA and we are excited to have them back for years to come! Everyone learned something valuable this weekend, including myself as a coach.
