Dark Horse Futbol – ELITE Technical Camp 2025
Eau Claire, Wisconsin
Join Coach Chance Vang and Dark Horse Futbol in Eau Claire, Wisconsin for this year’s Dark Horse Futbol ELITE Technical Camp!
Develop your game through Japanese inspired, high intensity, technical focused ball mastery training led by Coach Chance Vang. Coach Vang, founder of Dark Horse Futbol, is a former Colorado Rapids MLS Academy player and a current NCAA college soccer coach. He also has three NCAA National Tournament appearances, once as a player and twice as a coach.
Coach Vang is passionate about helping young players develop and refine their technical skills, along with providing guidance and mentorship throughout the college recruiting process.
The camp will also include an educational college talk, presentation, and Q&A.
Note: This camp is strictly a training clinic focused on technical development. It is not a college identification or recruiting event. The purpose of this clinic is to provide players with high level technical instruction and educational guidance, not to evaluate or recruit prospective student athletes.

The First Touch Winter Soccer Skills Clinic is a program designed for players between the ages of 9-14. Specifically reserved for non-Guardians SC athletes, this program will teach valuable skills and techniques that all soccer players must know.
Perfect for elementary (U10/11) and middle school (U12/13/14/15) aged players that are new to the game of soccer or play within recreational programs around the region such as Eau Claire Parks and Rec, Lafayette Parks and Rec, or AYSO.
Our Learn to Play program introduces young players to the fun and fundamentals of soccer in an exciting, age-appropriate environment. Each session focuses on movement, balance, coordination, and basic ball skills through engaging games and activities that keep kids active and smiling.
The emphasis is on fun, teamwork, and developing a love for the game—not competition. Players will learn to dribble, pass, and shoot while building confidence and friendships along the way.
This is the perfect entry point for children new to soccer or still learning the basics.

Develop coordination, balance, and proper movement patterns through fun, structured agility training. These sessions teach players how to move efficiently, improve reaction time, and build athletic confidence.
Offered Sundays, 12:00–2:00 PM.

Goalkeepers will focus on core fundamentals such as hand positioning, diving technique, and footwork within the goal area. Sessions are designed to improve confidence and command of the box in every situation.
Offered Saturdays, 12:00–1:00 PM.
These advanced sessions emphasize shot-stopping, distribution, and handling under pressure, replicating game-like scenarios. Goalkeepers will be coached to refine their communication, decision-making, and presence during play.
Offered Saturdays, 1:00–2:00 PM.
This program focuses on ball control, footwork, and technical consistency through high-touch, repetition-based training. Players learn to perform skills at speed and under pressure to improve confidence on the ball.
Offered Wednesdays, 5:00-6:00 PM.
Advanced sessions centered around first touch, dribbling, passing, and combination play in tight spaces. Each session builds rhythm and creativity to help players dominate 1v1 situations and make cleaner, faster decisions.
