VSA Softball would like to congratulate Adison Hasse on her commitment to play college softball at Dominican University! Adison has been a part of the Guardian Softball program from the beginning, and we can’t wait to see her continued growth before college!
- What is your name and where do you go to High School? Also what is your graduating year?
- My name is Adison Hasse I go to Menomonie High School and I’m a 2025 senior.
- Where have you decided to play college softball?
- I’m playing college softball at Dominican University, River Forest, IL
- Why did you choose this school and program? (Facilities, coach, players, academics, environment, etc.)
- I chose this program because of team camaraderie and culture. I love how close the team is, and how much they support each other. I knew DU would be my home for the next 4 years after having my official visit. The academics and athletics were both a perfect fit. I’m going to study fashion, and DU has a phenomenal fashion program.
- What are you looking forward to most about playing at the next level?
- I’m looking forward to playing at the next level. I’m ready for the challenges that come with that, as well as the competition at such a high level. Playing college softball has always been my dream, I’m so excited to finally live out this dream!
- How was the recruiting process for you? What were some challenges and positives throughout the process?
- For me the recruiting process was tough at times. Sending out emails constantly in the off season, waiting patiently for responses from coaches. When DU responded back to me it seemed like a perfect fit. They were looking for an outfielder, and I was looking for a school with fashion. It really is a perfect match.
- Any other information that you potentially would like mentioned.
- I would also maybe like to mention to other girls in the recruiting process to not give up. Yes recruiting is a lot of work, but if it’s for a sport you love to play then continue putting in that work to get yourself where you want to be.
