Valley Sports Academy recognizes the importance of an age appropriate strength training program to establish a solid athletic foundation. Our Strength Training facility and programs helps players take their game to the next level, reaching their full athletic potential in their respected sports.

Speed and Agility Program
Speed and agility training that emphasizes proper mechanics and incorporates all aspects of speed and agility: acceleration, deceleration, and change of direction.
3 Weeks, October 9-25
Ages 8-11: Mondays & Wednesdays 4:00pm-4:45pm
Ages 12+: Mondays & Wednesdays 5:00pm-5:45pm

WEIGHTLIFTING FORM CAMP
A two-day camp designed to teach athletes the correct form and mechanics of two common barbell exercises: Squat and Deadlift.

MEET OUR DIRECTOR OF STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
Nick comes to VSA with a degree in Fitness and Health/Exercise Science and a minor in Exercise Physiology. He has his NSCA CSCS Certifications and has spent the last 4 years working as a personal trainer. He also brings a long history of hockey playing and coaching to our VSA team!
