Ages 8-10

The purpose of this program is to give young athletes a solid foundation for future sports performance training.

It is designed for young athletes to increase athleticism through speed and agility training that emphasizes proper mechanics and incorporates all aspects of speed and agility: acceleration, deceleration, and change of direction.

Open Scheduling: 1-6 athletes per session

30 minute Sessions

Ages 12+

The purpose of this program is to increase athleticism through speed and agility training that emphasizes proper mechanics and incorporates all aspects of speed and agility: acceleration, deceleration, and change of direction.

45 minute Sessions

Mobility

The purpose of this program is to increase athleticism and reduce an athlete’s risk of injury through mobility training and teaching proper recovery.

Lifting Form

Training is meant to help athletes excel at their sport, but when done incorrectly it will have the opposite result. The purpose of this program is to teach athletes proper form and technique of various exercises that are consistently implemented in strength and conditioning programs both in and outside of our facility.

MEET OUR DIRECTOR OF SPORTS PERFORMANCE

NICK STIRMEL

Nick comes to VSA with a degree in Fitness and Health/Exercise Science and a minor in Exercise Physiology. He has his NSCA CSCS Certifications and has spent the last 4 years working as a personal trainer. He also brings a long history of hockey playing and coaching to our VSA team!
